Larry R. Sears has been involved in lay ministry since 1991 and has been leading divorce recovery seminars since 1994.  He is considered one of the most knowledgeable authorities on divorce recovery, having nurtured more than 1,000 people through their divorces. Larry has studied numerous books and resources in the field, developed his own materials from this experience, and pursued divorce issues with a variety of counselors, educators and pastors. He is frequently called upon by counselors and pastors as a resource on divorce recovery issues.

Larry has bachelor’s degrees in business and communications and a master’s degree in counseling.   He has pursued doctoral work in administration.

Larry is a member of Greenwood Community Church in Greenwood Village, CO and has taught and lectured at other churches, para-church ministries, and public groups.
